Leander Flexion-Distraction

What is Flexion-Distraction

Flexion distraction is a non-invasive, non-surgical table that can safely move the spine in a therapeutic stretch to alleviate pain due to disc pain such as herniation(s) and/or bulge(s) and take pressure off the lumbar spine. It is a slow, gentle, and controlled motion taking specific segments through a flexion-extension range in order to distract said segments.
Reseach shows its safety and effectiveness:
Effects of flexion-distraction manipulation therapy on pain and disability in patients with lumbar spinal stenosis
A randomized clinical trial and subgroup analysis to compare flexion–distraction with active exercise for chronic low back pain
The Effects of Manual Therapy Using Joint Mobilization and Flexion-distraction Techniques on Chronic Low Back Pain and Disc Heights
